Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology
The graduated program for PhD degree is developed followed to MOET and VNU-HCMC regulation and in the way to ensure a qualified education, includes 3 parts:
- Part 1: Complementary module:
- Provide more professional knowledge and skills from other BSc, MSc and PhD courses to support the performing of the PhD dissertation.
- Depend on the diploma and certification (Bachelor or Master degree, biotechnology field or other fields), the number of required courses and credits will be different.
- Part 2: Compulsory module includes PhD course, special studies and literature review:
- Provide the needed knowledge and skills to perform the research professionally and ensure that the bioethics in research is followed.
- Update new knowledge related directly to the research, build the aptitude for scientific research, and help PhD students solve some part of their dissertation.
- Part 3: Performing research and PhD dissertation
The duration is 3 years. The PhD student must completed 135 credits (not include Philosophy and English requirement) and has public scientific papers to fullfill the requirement for PhD dissertation’s defense.
